P3 learned lots about life in the past for children. They had a chance to do some laundry, fetch turf and eggs, make pancakes and clean the horse saddle.
We had great opportunity to see what homes were like in the past and how people coped without electricity and running water - chamber pots at the ready!
Then it was time for school, writing on slates and playing with hoops and ropes. We were lucky to see a blacksmith demonstration in the forge and have a quick look around the shops before setting sail on the ship for America.
